“HEY YOU! Did you know in the state of Michigan that you could receive a $1,000 fine and up to 60 days in jail if you provide alcohol to a minor under the age of 21?”

Today we hosted the “Sticker Shock” project in Powers, MI with our North Central HYC youth members! This idea came from their action plan that they created while they attended our Youth Summit this past October. Thank you Fazer’s Foods and the Cenex gas station for your involvement in this project. We also want to thank Jenni Grabowski with Public Health, Delta & Menominee Counties who helped out Mary and Karianne today!

Another shoutout to Hannahville Indian CommunityHugh Bretl Drug Awareness Walleye & Trout Tournament and Tri-City Area United Way for being major sponsors of the Youth Summit that made this project possible.
