"Sticker Shock" Project A Success!

HYC teamed up with Public Health Delta and Menominee Counties and Sergeant Brian Helfert from the Menominee County Sheriff Department for our annual “Sticker Shock” project in Menominee County!  Our Stephenson and North Central HYC members helped us out placing over 1,000 bright colored stickers on multi packs of beer and wine coolers warning those who are over the age of 21 NOT to supply to minors.  These stickers also listed the legal consequences if they are caught doing so.  Our HYC members recognized the importance of hosting this event over the hunting season due to an increase in camp parties and the engagement in risky behaviors.

A special thank you to Fazer’s Foods, Carney General Store and Gary’s IGA of Wallace and Stephenson for allowing us to do the project in their businesses!  We appreciate the community support!
